The Propaganda About Russian Propaganda
I don't know whether you guys heard about this.  According to an article published last Monday in the Washington Post, a secretive organization called PropOrNot has discovered that Russian state propaganda organizations got Donald Trump elected.  They further allege that many of the right-leaning alternative news sites are witting or unwitting parts of this Russian propaganda network.  Including Drudge, Ron Paul's organization, Zerohedge, etc.  Basically, if you don't toe the neocon line on Russia, you're on Putin's payroll, or a duped "useful idiot".

Glenn Greenwald wrote a good rebuttal in The Intercept, and now the New Yorker has one, too.

The WaPo article:

The Intercept:
Washington Post Disgracefully Promotes a McCarthyite Blacklist From a New, Hidden, and Very Shady Group

The New Yorker:
The Propaganda About Russian Propaganda
Guns don't kill people, the government does.
Yep! Ron Paul is working for the Russians! HAHAH! Washington TOAST
Every alt-Right website has been having great fun with this for about a week now.  You are nobody in the alt-Right if you didn't make the list!  The Neocons are desperate to go this low and absurd, but I suspect that more Americans are taking this at face value than I would hope.  These pro-war guys will go to any length of divisiveness to try to get their way.

Remember "freedom fries" and how all the right-wingers were howling about the French back before the second Gulf War?  "Either yer wid us or yer aginst us"?  Now it is ostensibly the left who are howling on behalf of the Neocons.

God, I hope Trump keeps these bastards out of his government.

Well, it looks like Obama is ordering a official review.

Obama orders review of election hacking

"WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama has ordered intelligence officials to conduct a broad review on the election-season hacking that rattled the presidential campaign and raised new concerns about foreign meddling in U.S. elections, a White House official said Friday.

White House counterterrorism and Homeland Security adviser Lisa Monaco said Obama ordered officials to report on the hacking of Democratic officials' email accounts and Russia's involvement. The report is due to be submitted to the president before he leaves office next month. Monaco did not say if the report would be made public."

This is becoming an article of faith for the Left/Liberal/Progressive/Democrats.

Not having a failed candidate or failed policies.

No no no.  "The Russians did it -- it's their fault -- they interfered with our election!"

What nonsense.

While Hillary consistently said during the campaigning cycle that "17 U.S. intelligence agencies"
had confirmed Russia's involvement in the hacking of John Podesta's emails, as WikiLeaks pointed out,
those "17 intelligence agencies" actually came down to one very ambiguous comment, by Director of
National Intelligence James Clapper, which actually offered no evidence and didn't actually confirm
Russian involvement at all.

But this utter and complete lack of any evidence whatsoever  hasn't slowed these halfwits down one bit.

Two nights ago (Wed 12/7) one of these supporters, Representative Adam Shiff (D - CA) was on
Tucker Carlson Tonight to present his case.

When Carlson questioned him about actual 'proof' he hemmed and hawed and engaged in some serious
tautological circumlocution but provided none

When pressed further, he accused Carlson of "carrying water for the Russians" and that maybe Carlson
should move his show over to RT:

"Sooner or later everyone sits down to a banquet of consequences."  -- RLStevenson
That congressmen is a twit.  Ugg.

Hilary is chiming in now.

The DemocRats don't like being exposed.

It matters not who hacked those emails (attacking the source is classical ad hominem logical fallacy), what matters is their contents and whether they're true or not.
