Capitalism vs Socialism vs Free Markets vs Financialism vs Globalism
#1
Hopefully this thread will enlighten us (and perhaps win a Nobel Prize). Let's start with:

The problem is that we have disrespected the Constitution and allowed our federal government to get too powerful.  By overconcentrating power in this way, we’ve collected the levers of power in one convenient place for the powerful to manipulate, with the result that megacorporations have taken over.  So we’ve effectively replaced our constitutional democracy with corporatocracy.  It’s getting hard to tell where the line between corporation and government is.  Is it free market?  Capitalist?  Socialist?  I doubt any of these are as accurate a descriptor as corporatist.

Yes, Mr. Squirming Globalist Propagandist, your objection is duly noted. Now squirm further as we further chase the truth, or ......... join the hunt! Use your mental abilities for clarity.

The second half of this segment is pretty interesting, even for a non-goldbug like myself. It is an interview with Roy Sebag, who has set up a company selling 24 carrot gold JEWLRY by weight. He also has some very interesting economic thoughts. (some of you Trump Haters may not like a couple of positive comments about Trump) Worth the watch, I think.

It's the center show. The one by Max Keiser.

Sigh!

Start off by defining your terms, then maybe you'll get somewhere.

Maybe....

How far is a corporatist from a fascist?

Waste of 2.5 minutes, and might be the dumbest thing you've posted so far. Wealth is fixed in Monopoly, no capital formation, and of course you are forced to pay the owners against your will. That sounds more like the other ism to me.

You might be interested in this game, though. Enjoy!
