Cynical geezer that I am I have to wonder if the posted article might itself be manipulative propaganda. I more and more often feel that the 1960s hippies and Timothy Leary might have got one thing right. That was the advice to drop out. I wouldn't go completely off grid, but I could easily stay off the internet, stop the newspapers and magazines, get my reading materials from the library and Borders and avoid a lot of stress, fake news and bull shit.

Good point. It does seem like a chicken and the egg thing. What came first? The thoughts of the people or the AI propaganda?
